SJF Featured in Tideline and ICM White Paper: “The Alpha in Impact”

SJF Ventures and four portfolio companies help illustrate how impact enhances financial value

Tideline and the Impact Capital Managers (ICM) network recently published a new white paper, The Alpha in Impact. The exciting research features SJF Ventures as well as four SJF portfolio companies: Cecelia Health (formerly Fit4D), NEXTracker, TransLoc and Vital Farms. The report is based on Tideline’s analysis of nearly 30 financial transactions from the investment portfolios of ICM members and demonstrates how a social and environmental focus on investment management can enhance financial returns. Specifically, the analysis uncovered 10 distinct drivers of “impact alpha,” or ways in which operating with an impact objective can enhance or add financial value for fund managers, investors and portfolio companies.

SJF Ventures was pleased to participate in The Alpha in Impact research alongside fellow ICM members and in collaboration with Tideline’s team.

The white paper is available as a PDF download on Tideline’s website.
