Nair brings more than 20 years of industry-leading technology innovation to global leader in trade-in solutions

Dallas, Texas – May 12, 2015 – HYLA, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Biju Nair to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer. Biju assumed the role of President for HYLA, Inc. earlier this year. He has been instrumental in creating a new strategy, streamlining the organization, and improving business operations while bringing a keen focus to new technology solution offerings for both existing and potential customers.

Bringing more than 20 years of experience to his role, Biju is a recognized entrepreneur and technology industry leader. Prior to joining HYLA, he served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Corporate Strategy Officer for Synchronoss Technologies, Inc., where he was responsible for leading the technology direction and strategic vision of the company, as well as investor relations.

Prior to joining Synchronoss, Biju was the Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sapience Knowledge Systems, Inc., a venture-backed wireless software company that was acquired by Synchronoss Technologies in 2011. Previously, he held the position of Senior Vice President and GM of the Connectivity and Security Group at Smith Micro Software and Corporate Vice President and GM and founder of Mobility Solutions Group at PCTEL, Inc. which was acquired by Smith Micro in 2008. In addition, Biju has held senior executive positions at SAFCO Technologies and Agilent Technologies.

Biju is the author of several key patents in the wireless telecom arena and is a frequent speaker at leading industry events, such as Mobile World Congress, CTIA, Wireless Influencers’ Conference and Mobile Future Forward. Nair serves on the boards of numerous venture-backed start-up companies and is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago, Leadership Council of CTIA’s Wireless Internet Caucus and IEEE Computer Society.
